Date Day with Liam II
Now that we have three children we are finding it harder and harder to get that precious alone time with each of them. So to combat this issue Rory and I have implemented a date night of sorts with each child. As a young girl some of my favorite memories with my father were of our date nights. So this month I took Liam out and Rory took Dane. Our little Finn gets way too many midnight rendez dous as it is. On Saturday morning Liam and I went to the Palo Alto farmers market. We strolled down the aisle holding hands smelling flowers and sampling fresh ripe fruit. We found a treasure; morel mushroom for $25 a pound (a steal and the main ingredient of my favorite dish). At the end of our tour we got some crepes and sat on a bench under a big tree. It was the kind of tree that lets the perfect amount of light sparkle through. As we sat there eating our delicious crepes, we met quite a wonderful lady. Her name is Betty and I deem her the grandmother of the farmers market. She shared her lavender and basil with Liam and brightened our whole day. I think the only think the only thing I love more than Betty is Liam.

That is to cute. I loved your description of the day, I felt like I was there. HAHA! I also loved the pictures of Liam with the old lady.
