You know you're moving when...

You know you're moving when....

Your bedside table is a box of Halloween decorations
You eat yogurt with a knife
You would be willing to trade all your fine china for a pair of scissors
You spend 3 hours getting ready for church and actually get there early (excited/nervous to meet new friends)
It seems like every other object you pull out of a box reminds you of someone you miss and love
Your children have been wearing the same dirty shirts for 3 days
You've been wearing your husband deodorant and smell like old spice
You spend enough time looking for deals on Craig's list to call it a part time job
You're on a first name basis with several Home Depot employees
You spend 600 dollars at Walmart on....hangers .... and I don't know what, but I know I needed it

Hoping to be settled soon

Out in Austin and loving it - Anne

oh that all sounds extremely familiar. we just barely barely replaced our "boxes of halloween decorations" with real nightstands :)

oh, and it's been 6 months and Brendon still has to go to home depot once a week. agh. having a house is a lot of work.

I just moved across the country and yeah- the deodorant thing is so true. Except he was using mine :)

P.S. this is Mary's friend in case you're wondering who this strange comment is from!

So funny and so true! I have a washer and dryer (again) and my kids still wear the same clothes for days on end...that maybe is not a result of our move so much as a result of my lazy house keeping?

Miss you!

Oh I'm so glad you've made it! Thinking of you and wishing you fewer and fewer trips to Home Depot... Keep posting; I want to see photos of your new life (and of that new baby girl).

Love you!
