Although we got off to a rocky start (Dane started throwing up on the gangway and we were kindly "removed" from the flight) it was a fabulous adventure. After missing out flight we were stuck at the airport with Rory back in palo alto and a flight booked for 6:00am the next morning. I called my mom crying feeling like our hopes were dashed and Dane was so disappointed. It was already just a quick weekend trip so having a whole day cut off the adventure was a huge disappointment. My mom and Dad saved the day when they said "let the adventure start now, we'll put you up in a fabulous downtown hotel and you can spend the day eating room service, watching pay per view, and jumping on the bed". This cured everything.

Thanks to Jan and JP who flew out to take care of Liam and Finn while I was gone and Rory was working. They boys had so much fun and I'm glad we got to spend some time with you when we got back.

Wonderful visit. I loved time alone with Dane and Anne. We are all so happy for Lauren and thrilled that Anne got to be part of her special day. But I must say that pirate ship day was awesome. So much fun.
I love that you take these special trips one on one with your boys! It looks like you had an amazing time--even with a rocky start.
